The Eutectic men's soccer team lost 6-0 to Hannibal-LaGrange University in an American Midwest Conference matchup Tuesday night in St. Louis. The heavily skilled Trojans netted twice in the first half, then scored another four goals in the second half.

The Euts struggled to match the slick-footed Trojans who maintained high pressure for the full 90 minutes. With every heavy touch snatched away, the Eutectics found it extremely difficult to build offensive momentum.

STLCOP goalkeeper, Ethan Haege, did have a highlight moment to add to his impressive freshman season. Haege saved a penalty in the 23rd minute. Guessing low, right-side, Haege's outstretched arms parried away the shot. This save was his second penalty save in two games. Haege racked up six saves in the game to add to his season total of 37 in five games to lead the conference in Saves per Game.

The Eutectics are now 0-4-1 (0-3 AMC) heading into their next conference game on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Lindenwood University-Belleville at 12 p.m.
